Improved Speed Tops List of Enhancements
LINDO Systems has released What'sBest! 4.0, which includes a radically faster linear solver, an enhanced nonlinear solver, and offers increased capacity on linear models. What'sBest! 4.0 also includes a number of improvements in usability.
The capacities have been increased in LINDO. The limits on the number of variables for linear models have been at least doubled for the different size versions available.
A license manager has made upgrades for What'sBest! 4.0 and LINGO 5.0 quicker and easier.

The What'sBest! 3.1 adds support for native Excel 97 files. This provides users with additional flexibility in expressing and laying out their models as well as added support of Visual Basic within Excel 97. The earlier 3.0 release of What'sBest! required models built in Excel 97 to be saved as Excel 5/Office 95 files.
The release of Solver Suite 3.0 has updated versions of two of the three included applications. This release includes 100 constraint by 200 variable versions of the new LINGO 4.0, the new What'sBest! 3.1, as well as the current LINDO 6.0.
